Understanding MLB Moneyline Odds from Start to Finish
A moneyline line shows two numbers — one negative, one positive. The negative side tells you how much you need to wager to return $100 profit; the positive side tells you how much a $100 bet would return if the underdog wins. So a line of -160 / +140 means the favorite costs $160 to net $100, while the underdog pays $140
on a $100 stake. The gap between those two numbers is the sportsbook's margin, sometimes called the juice or vig. Our MLB board updates continuously through the start of each game, and you can browse day and night matchups in a single scrollable list, including division rivals and interleague games.
